Our Company
PAR-4 Golf Car Company was formed by Ed and Sharon Beson in the fall of 1977 and began operation in a four car garage in Allentown, PA. Ed and Sharon had both worked for other golf car companies in Eastern PA and decided to branch out on their own. Ed began doing service in a Ford Pinto station wagon and Sharon did the office work from home. The business soon took off and Ed was getting requests for tournament rental fleets and winter reconditioning.
In the spring of 1979 Ed and Sharon bought 3 acres in Springside Industrial Acres in Allentown and began planning a full service golf car company with a shop for service and repairs, showroom for golf car sales, parts room and offices. In 1982 the business was incorporated as Trevin Inc., (The first 4 letters of the Beson's oldest Son and the last 4 letters of the youngest). Trevin Inc., trades as Par-4 Golf Car Sales & Service and is now a second generation family owned and operated business and continues to serve the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.
PAR-4 has been in business for over 29 years. We are family owned and operated. PAR-4 offers a variety of services from customizing your car to service and rentals. We also have a great parts and engine rebuilding shop.
